Dr. Sandra J. Aljure-Estrada
I was born in Bogota, Colombia, and earned my DDS (Doctor in Dental Surgery) at Catholic Jesuit University (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana) in 1990. I passionately began my practice and then moved to the United States in 1999, where I graduated from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry.
Devoted to the art that is dentistry, I have continued to train and learn; and I am now certified to provide Invisalign, Mini and Conventional Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry (Complete Smile Makeovers), Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ), Veneers and Lumineers.

I am a member of the American Dental Association, International Dental Implant Association and Tampa Dental Study Club. This allows me to stay connected to my colleagues and the ever-advancing technology and continuing education. I participate in the Dental Lifeline Network – Florida Donated Dental Services, an organization that provides services for people with disabilities, as well as the elderly or medically fragile.
I also started a program in 2012 at my office to give back to the community, by donating services at no cost to patients in need. Cleanings, extractions and restorative dentistry are provided at no cost to the patients, with the help of Pastors David and Ada Rivera (Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, M.I.).
“Prevention and education” is my goal in caring for my patients. I was terrified of going to the dentist as a child; so I understand the concerns of my patients who come in reluctantly and in pain. Being educated about their oral health will help my patients live happier, longer lives; and for me, the best reward is a happy, healthy smile.
